City of Chattanooga – Street Design Standards
The City of Chattanooga is currently in the process of considering updates to its Street Design Standards language within the Subdivision Regulations. As part of an effort that began in the early summer of 2022, the City has proposed to reconstitute language from a prior version of the regulations, align with similar standards and practices from other Tennessee peer cities, and update the regulations to reflect the City’s current standards and policies in subdivision street design.
The City’s latest adopted version of the regulations is located here on RPA’s website. The section being considered for amendment through this effort begins under “Article 4: Subdivision Design Standards” – Section 401: Infrastructure.
A copy of the proposed regulation amendments, and history of public meetings is listed on this page.
