The Regional Planning Agency holds both regularly scheduled meetings and other meetings, workshops, and events as needed. The regularly scheduled meetings are as follows:
- Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission meets the second Monday of each month on the 4th floor of the Hamilton County Courthouse at 625 Georgia Avenue in Room 402 at 1:00 p.m. The purpose of the meetings is to approve or deny subdivision plats, review applications for rezoning, right-of-way abandonments and certain types of special permits, and allow the opportunity for public input. - Chattanooga-Hamilton County/North Georgia Transportation Planning Organization Technical Coordinating Committee and Executive Board meetings are scheduled monthly although additional meetings may be called as necessary or meeting dates may change if needed.Meetings are held at 1:30 p.m. (Eastern) at the Development Resource Center, 1250 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402, in Conference Room 1A unless noted below on the meeting schedule.
- Technical Coordinating Committee: Second Tuesday of every other month beginning in January.
- Executive Board: Fourth Wednesday of every other month beginning in February (except for December when it is held the 3rd Tuesday).
