Multimodal Transportation Center Study (MTCS)
In January 2015, CDM Smith with a team of architects, transportation planners, and site designers along with local public involvement firm A. Coulter Consulting were chosen to lead the process for determining sites and building concepts for a multimodal access, education, and activity center(s) to improve linkages between transportation modes and CARTA’s transit operations. The study is expected to take a little less than a year to complete and will have various stages of public involvement. The results of the study will help CARTA determine appropriate next steps for implementation of changes to their system and the build-out of a center or centers.
