Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission

In the case of inclement weather, the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission will not meet if the Hamilton County, TN public schools are closed for the day -OR-  if the Hamilton County Courthouse has been closed by the Hamilton County Mayor due to an adverse event.

In the event of a delayed opening or early closing/dismissal by the Hamilton County, TN schools, the Regional Planning Commission will meet at their regularly scheduled time.  The closing of Hamilton County, TN public schools for illness, staffing, special events, facility or other non-weather related matter shall not impact the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission meeting date.

Announcements about Regional Planning Commission meeting cancellations will also be made on local radio and television stations.

In the event of a cancellation of the Regional Planning Commission meeting, the meeting will be rescheduled no earlier than two weeks from the date of the original meeting.  The rescheduled meeting date is dependent on meeting room availability.  All agenda items will automatically move to the rescheduled meeting agenda.  The Regional Planning Agency will post the rescheduled date on its website, notify the date through a legal notice in the newspaper, and change the meeting date on the posted zoning notice signs.
