Draft Rossville BLVD Corridor Study

The Rossville Boulevard Area plan was last updated by the RPA in 2004. Over the past few years, the BLVD Project has worked to bring attention to the needs and opportunities of the Rossville Boulevard corridor. For more information about this community initiative, visit www.theblvdproject.com.

These local residents and business owners, along with elected officials from the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County, have also worked with the RPA to create this Corridor Study.

Comments about the Corridor Study received by May 2 will be incorporated, and that updated Corridor Study will be posted to this website.

Following that, the analysis and recommendations in this study will become part of a larger study, also being coordinated by the RPA. The South Chattanooga / Lookout Mountain (Area 4) Plan will include all of the Rossville Boulevard corridor. That 12-18 month planning process will include public meetings, with the final Area 4 Plan being presented to the Chattanooga City Council for adoption.
