Change to Submittal Deadline for Applications

Effective April 1, 2022, the application deadline submittal for rezonings, mandatory referrals, special permits, deviations, and lifting or amending conditions will change from the 4th Monday to the 3rd Monday of each month.  This means that the applications for the June 13th, 2022 Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission meeting will be due on April 18th, 2022. 

This change does not impact the application submittal deadline for subdivision plats and variance applications.  

Applications can be submitted in person before 12:00 noon on the deadline submittal date, or electronically before 4:30 p.m. on the application deadline date.  Electronic applications are submitted via email to rezoningapplications@chattanooga.gov

Once applications are submitted, RPA staff will review for all required submittal information and will contact the applicant, or the applicant’s representative to let them know that the application is complete and will collect payment for the application.  Applications that are missing required submittal information will not be considered a complete application.  In these instances the applicant or the applicant’s representative will be contacted by a RPA staff member for the required information and the applicant or applicant’s representative will have 24 hours to submit the required information for the application to be considered complete.  Incomplete applications will not be reviewed and will have to be resubmitted for the next application window.
