Subarea Transportation/ Land Use Study

The Hamilton Place Connectivity Study considered a range of transit circulator alternatives in the Hamilton Place Mall area to explore feasible options for the concept proposed in the 2040 Regional Transportation Plan. The Study examined previous plans for the area, existing and planned transit services, existing roadways and traffic conditions, current conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists, and also land use and zoning in the area. Recommendations were made for transit, roadways, pedestrians and bicyclists, and land use regulations in support of the four main goals of the study: Improved Connectivity, Promote Transportation Safety, Improve Traffic Conditions, and Promote Public Transit Use.

Designated representatives from partner agencies and elected/appointed bodies were invited to serve on the steering committee for the study. Presentations given to the steering committee and TPB are available below:
