The Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) details the actions that will be taken by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Agency (RPA), on behalf of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County/North Georgia Transportation Planning Organization, in the event of a local emergency or catastrophic disaster (such as a flood, tornado or earthquake) that could pose a threat to human safety, loss of capital assets and equipment, damage or loss of property, loss of TPO records or files, and would physically prevent access to the TPO. The plan is intended to ensure the continuity of essential office functions in the occurrence of a major event/emergency/disaster and will be activated exclusively when operations cannot continue at the RPA offices.
