The Infrastructure Investment Jobs Act (IIJA), otherwise known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, was signed into effect on November 15th, 2021. The IIJA and Titles 23 and 49 of the United States Code (U.S.C.) direct the statewide and metropolitan transportation planning processes across the country and in the States of Georgia and Tennessee. The IIJA is set to expire on September 30th, 2026.
